Reliability, Longevity, and Efficiency
Hail damage causes air restriction and the unit cannot operate properly. This reduces the efficiency of the unit. Your unit will not cool properly and/or not at all. Your utility bills will increase.

A hail damage unit is unable to operate at full capacity. Hail damage condenser coils restricts airflow. Restriction to a unit causes fan motors and compressors to burn up prematurely.

Combing is a process to clean and straighten your air conditioning condenser coils. Damaged coils can block air flow and decrease the effectiveness of your unit. Most units cannot be combed because of the depth of damage and direction. Only minor hail damage to a unit can be combed. Any hail damage that is not addressed, will void your manufacturer’s warranty.

How can you tell if you have hail damage to your property?
By having a professional visually inspect for small dents on rain gutters or air conditioning units, missing or bent shingles, moist areas on your ceiling, cracks in windows, dents on siding or brick. If your car has damage or your neighbor is having their roof replaced, chances are your property has sustained damage as well. Can you trust your insurance company to represent your best interest?

No matter how much you like your insurance agent or adjuster personally, they work for the insurance company, which is in business to make money. Contractors referred by your insurance company may have a financial incentive to save the insurance company money, at your expense.

Why should you have your property be inspected for damage?

  • If your home is damaged you may have limited time to file an insurance claim.
    To avoid any secondary damage.
  • Most damage due to natural disasters are covered by insurance.
  • Hail can damage all the exterior perimeter of your property including your air conditioning system.
  • Peace of mind and reassurance that your property will be made whole again.
  • By a thorough inspection you can identify all areas of damage to your property.
  • Petrocelli Services provides a free verbal assessment.

Has your insurance company denied your claim?
We understand that your time is valuable and that your home is your most important asset. If your claim has been denied, we will request up to 3 separate adjuster inspections and re-file the claim that was denied. To increase your chances of approval, we will have our experienced team members there to help assist the process.

This is in regards to afterhour and weekend service calls:

During the summer months we experience high incoming calls, at which time we will have to resolve the most urgent issues.  We strive to take care of each customer as soon as possible, and this could mean that service is delayed hours or may have to be scheduled for the next day (for example, if your AC is working but needs to be serviced, verses a customer who has no AC service.)
